2016 Owensboro Air Show Set for October

The  dates for the 2016 Owensboro Air Show have been announced and we can look forward to it on the first weekend in October.

First, beginning on Friday afternoon September 30th at 4PM at the Owensboro Regional Airport, you'll be able to meet some of the pilots who will fly during the show on October 1st and 2nd.

On that Friday evening, there will be a small air show at the airport followed by fireworks.

Tickets for the Friday night show will be $2.00. Kids 10 and under will get in free.

And then on Saturday and Sunday, the sky above the mighty Ohio will be filled with vintage warbirds, military jets, aerobatic demonstrations, and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds!

The blue bridge will be closed on October 1st from 7AM to 1PM giving you the opportunity to walk or bike across the bridge prior to the start of the show.

In addition to the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, you'll see the US Navy F/A-18 Hornet TAC Demo, the AeroShell Aerobatic Team, and the CAF Red Tail Squadron!
