NY Times Best Selling Author and McLean County native Kody Keplinger will be appearing at this Saturday's 2nd Annual Providence Literary Festival.

The inaugural festival, held last September, featured 'The Walking Dead' novel series author Joe Bonasinga. Over 250 visitors attended last year's event. This year, 15 published authors will be on hand selling and autographing their books.

Keplinger, while attending McLean County High School, began her writing career where she penned the New York Times and USA Today Best Seller 'The Duff' which was released as a major motion picture this past February. Kody has gone on to write several YA (young adult) novels. She lives in New York where she continues writing and she is a teacher at Gotham Writers Workshops. She is also the co-founder of Disability in KidLit. Her latest novel is 'Lying Out Loud'.
