The grass is always greener, right?!? Well, that's the thought process for this list. Let me start by saying, I love Owensboro and I love living in Owensboro. But, there are always things we wish we had that we don't have, so here you go...

Five Things I Wish Were In Owensboro:

1. Hot, single guys.

Yes, I started here, ha! Maybe it's because I don't get out much, or maybe it's because when I do go out, I'm so focused on my group of friends that I don't notice what's going on around me, but I don't have good luck on the dating scene. Ok, let's be honest, the last guy I went on a date with quickly removed himself from the states and went to Spain for a while. Sure, he was a Marine, but still, ha! Now, I will say, Corena that I work with and I went to Friday after Five last week and saw several lookers... maybe this summer will be a good one, ha! Until then, let's just pretend these two hotties live here! (That's Scott Eastwood and Sam Hunt, in case y'all were wondering)

2. Whataburger.

My mouth's watering just thinking about it! I can't be the only one who seriously considers a pretty major roadtrip just to enjoy this deliciousness, amen? I can remember many spring break nights in college that officially ended once we'd gone thru the Whataburger drive-thru, ha! I just love it so much!

3. Baseball Stadium/Outdoor Concert Venue On The River.

Now, I realize that the Evansville Otters are just over the bridge, but wouldn't it be nice to have something like that here? If you haven't been to see a Bowling Green Hotrods game, you're really missing out. It's a great venue and they've even had concerts there. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a nice baseball stadium on the river with the occasional show? Yes, yes it would!

4. Drive-thru Margarita/Daiquiri Hut.

Close your eyes and picture this... It's been a rough day at work, like copier quit, coffee maker broke and you had to stay an extra hour. Now, you're driving down Frederica and there it is... A beautiful sip of calm and delicious. Yep, drive-thru margarita/daiquiri huts actually exist. I found this out when I was in Louisiana for a show and was just mesmerized. Let's make this happen people. Sure, it'll take the state of Kentucky to approve it, but a girl can dream!

5. Party Boat.

We have this great Riverfront in Downtown Owensboro, wouldn't it be great to add to the magic? How much fun would a party on the water be? Crap tons of fun, that's how much! A boat, about like the General Jackson in Nashville (maybe not as nice thou, ha!) that you could either rent out for special occasions (rehearsal dinners, private events, college graduation parties, etc) with a dinner option, DJ and drinks! Someone with some money get on this, ha!
