88-Pound Catfish Caught in Kentucky Lake [VIDEO, PHOTOS]

Paula Cathey Smith of Waverly, Tennessee had a good day at Kentucky Lake last week. You gotta hand to her...this is a pretty spectacular way to end an old year and kick off a new one.

Based on other photos I saw on Paula's Facebook page, she loves to fish!

And, based on what I heard in this video, she's caught big ones before.

But this 88-pound catfish seems to be the biggest one she ever caught.

Very impressive, to say the least.

(And, you know, it occurs to me how technology has eliminated those suspicious "one that got away" stories. Catch a gigantic fish, roll camera, put him back in the water.)
