Earlier this year during our St. Jude Radiothon, we introduced you to St. Jude patient, Adam.  This amazing young man was the inspiration behind this year's St. Jude song, "Brave."  And that's exactly what he is.  While battling leukemia, Adam completed a half marathon, finished and graduated high school and created an army of supporters who have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for St. Jude.  And Jaclyn and I were humbled and honored that he showed up at St. Jude this morning to join us at the starting line for Sweatin' for St. Jude, our 300-mile bike ride to create awareness and raise funds for kids just like Adam.  He is the pure definition of bravery.

Our visit from Adam this morning was precisely the kind of fuel and motivation we need to tackle this journey from Memphis to Owensboro.

Adam's mom, Connie, was on hand too.  She said, "Cancer is not fun.  But fundraising like this gives everyone who crosses your path the chance to laugh and smile. That makes the hope that cancer will end feel even bigger."

You can join us!  You can be a part of this fundraising mission easily and quickly.  To donate to Sweatin' for St. Jude, all you have to do is text RIDE to 785833.  Once you do that, you'll be able to donate any amount you choose.

Sweatin' for St. Jude is proudly sponsored by Window World, a national contributor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and an amazing local supporter of our St. Jude fundraising efforts here at WBKR!
