Adopt a New Friend at Eyewitness News Founder’s Day Friday

Our friends at Eyewitness News (Channels 25 & 7) are having a Founder's Day party all day Friday to celebrate the anniversary of their parent company, Nexstar Media Group, and they're hoping to find some furry friends their forever homes in the process!

The event runs from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Eyewitness News at 800 Marywood Drive in Henderson (just up the hill from the Highway 41 strip) and will give you the chance to meet all your favorite Eyewitness News personalities, and maybe even find your new best friend as animals from the Warrick Humane Society, It Takes a Village, and the Humane Society of Henderson will all be on site with animals hoping you'll have room in your home and your heart to make them part of your family.

The day will also feature food from several local food trucks from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., as well as Pets Supply Plus providing starter checklists on what new pet owners need, free coupons, and free pet toys while supplies last.

Plus, we'll be broadcasting live throughout the day along side our sister-stations!
