‘American Idol’ Making a Return [VIDEO]

I was listening to the news this morning and heard that 'American Idol' would be making a return! How exciting is this? Will we have another Carrie, Kellie, Scotty, Trent or Lauren in our future? I sure hope so!

Details coming in are minimal at this time, but after two years the hit show will be revived on a new network. According to a story posted on USA Today, ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey, in a statement, called Idol "a pop-culture staple that left the air too soon." I think we can all agree with this statement!

I can't wait to see who the new judges and host will be and of course, the craziness of the auditions. Who's your favorite country music Idol contestant?

This is probably, hands down, one of my favorite Idol moments of all time! Carrie and Randy together is pure perfection and an Idol moment I'm sure many of you can appreciate!

It's so great to see someone who came from such heartache become a star! Kellie Pickler has earned all of her success.

'American Idol' brought us country new-comer, Trent Harmon. He has that soulful classic country sound which is so rich and beautiful! I think we'll be hearing much more in the future from this young artist.

Perfect to celebrate Mother's Day is "Like My Mother Does" from Lauren Alaina who came in second place during Season 10. Alaina was even named the New Artist of the Year at the 2012 ACM Awards. She is amazing!

Scotty McCreery took the stage with Tim McGraw on the Season 10 finale which he went on to win!
