Congrats are in order for Heaven Modl, Apollo High School student who has earned a full scholarship to OCTC and paid internship from Cummins Sales & Service in Evansville.Heaven is the very first person in OCTC history and the very first female to be awarded this internship.  Jeremy Camron, said that "Heaven is a brilliant student who never let gender stereotypes determine what she wants to do with her life."  He also said she qualified for the Cummins internship based on outstanding scores on an aptitude test and interview, as well as being a part of diesel mechannics at OCTC.

Modl has already finished her junior year at Apollo High School and has earned enough credits to qualify for early graduation!  She will receive her diploma at commencement ceremonies tonight at 7 p.m. at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Heaven will start college classes this fall and begin the paid internship when she turns 18.  After completing the internship program she is guaranteed to receive two years of employment at Cummins.

Great Job Heaven!  We are super proud of your accomplishments.  Keep striving for success in all you do~
