An arrest has been made in the Gabbi Doolin murder case. The 7-year-old from Scottsville was first reported missing while attending a pee wee football game, her body was then discovered in the woods behind Allen Co-Scottsville High School last Saturday night.

Officials with the Kentucky State Police arrested 38-year-old Timothy Madden of Scottsville Friday morning. He was charged with kidnapping, rape 1st degree, sodomy 1st degree, and murder. KSP investigators say Doolin's death was ruled a homicide due to the state she was found and other evidence found at the scene.

Few details are known about Madden and it is unclear why he may have been in the area of the pee wee football game or if Gabbi knew him. Madden is being lodged in the Barren County Jail.
