Beaver Dam Earns Second “Playful City USA” Honor

KaBOOM! and the Humana Foundation have named Beaver Dam as a 2015 Playful City USA for the second year in a row.

Playful City USA utilize play as an innovative solution to address a number of challenges facing kids, families, and communities. Playability is the extent to which a city makes it easy for all kids to get balanced and active play.

Continued development of the Beaver Dam City Park contributed to this year's honor. Other Kentucky communities honored this year: Henderson, Murray, Pikeville, Simpsonville, and Williamstown.
