If you have lived in Kentucky or Tennessee, well anywhere, you've heard about The Bell Witch. Every time I would travel on I-24 to Nashville, I would see the exit for Adams, which is where the Bell family lived in early 19th-century. Daughter Betsy would invoke the wrath of a poltergeist and a haunting folklore legend was born. Author and paranormal adventurer Pat Fitzhugh will discuss his book on The Bell Witch at an appearance this Thursday (10/15) at 6:00 p.m. at the Daviess County Public Library.

A native of Nashville, Fitzhugh has written about ghost stories, unsolved mysteries, and Southern culture. He has made several TV appearances and he will soon be seen on the new A&E series "Cursed: The Bell Witch" which will focus on John Ceallach, a direct descendant of the Bell family.

Here's a sneak peek.

The series will premiere Monday, October 26th at 9pm.
