They did it! Bowling Green East is going back to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA for the second straight year. Technically, they are already in Williamsport. Here's what happened.

They were scheduled to play in the Great Lakes final against Essexville-Hampton LL (MI) on Saturday afternoon. The rain threat in Indianapolis was great, but the teams were able to get the first inning in before the rain started up again and it didn't let up. The game was then moved to Sunday morning, but Mother Nature had other plans and even more rain on tap. Thus, the game was moved to the home of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

BG East went on to defeat Michigan today 7-2 to win the Great Lakes region. Here's the victory celebration AKA "dog pile"!
