Brady Bunch Star Florence Henderson Dies at 82

Sad news to report this morning.  Tristate native Florence Henderson, one of the legendary stars of The Brady Bunch, has died.

Florence Henderson, who grew up in Dale, Indiana and still keeps her ties to the tristate, played Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch.  To anyone who grew up in during the 70's, Florence was essentially a second mom.  If you watched the show, you felt like the 7th Brady and Florence was a huge reason why.  We learned many of our life lessons through her and her family.

Henderson was 82-years-old and, in addition to starring in The Brady Bunch, had roles in The Love Boat, Murder She Wrote and, most recently, Dancing with the Stars.  And, last year, Florence served as the Grand Marshal of the Owensboro Daviess County Christmas Parade.

Rest in Peace, Florence.  From one of your many honorary Brady children.
