Casting a Net (Shaped by Faith)

Husband and wife team, Layla and Ryan Thompson are both missionaries in Thailand. They are home in Kentucky on furlough and taking time to spend with their family and friends. It has been over three years since we have seen our daughter and grandchildren! We are so happy they are here and will get to spend Christmas with us!

They have both been busy, raising their four children and accomplishing so much in Thailand.They have completed building six houses for children who have been rescued out of sex slavery. They have also built two wash water wells, two cement tanks, and completed the transitional property. Along with all of these assignments, they have built a beautiful worship center.

While visiting Kentucky they have spoken at several churches to share what God has been doing in their lives and in the lives of the people in Thailand. To find out more about their mission and vision go to Casting a Net Facebook page.

Casting a Net missionaries Layla and Ryan Thompson partner with Life Impact International(LII), in Thailand, to produce agricultural goods to sustain safe homes for children rescued out of the sex slave trade. We also design and manage construction projects for Life Impact International.

Empty rooms waiting to be filled with precious rescued treasures who are no longer waiting in darkness but living a life in Christ's renewing and redeeming love.
