EPD Offers Advice To Parents Regarding Replica Handguns And Their Children

Over the weekend, a 12 year-old was killed by a police officer in Cleveland. The 12 year-old was brandishing a replica handgun and was shot while being approached by the officer. This tragic event could have been avoided and the Evansville Police Department wants to make sure this does not happen here.

PLEASE, especially those of us who are parents, take the time to read this statement made by the EPD... It could save a life.

Effective today, smoking is banned in state-owned properties in the state of Kentucky.  The Commonwealth has the highest rate of adult smokers in the nation and the sixth highest youth smoking rate.  And, now, lawmakers have done something about it.

Here’s My Take On Negative Political Campaigns… It Ain’t Pretty [VIDEO]

We're all sick of it. Sick of the TV commercials, the radio ads, the countless political mailers that just never end. Blue or red, we are over it. I'm not sure when the political world became so hateful, but, I can't remember a time when it was friendly.  Why are political campaigns so negative? I for sure don't get it. And, it's annoying. (That's the nicest word I'm allowed to use without getting in trouble from  my boss.)

If you've ever listened to my Midday Show, you know I'm not afraid to go on a good rant every now and then. So, why not a rant about these nasty political ads? Add some good patriotic music and we're ready!
