The Nashville Predators are having a contest to choose someone to perform The Star-Spangled Banner at an upcoming game in the 2017-2018 season.  And Owensboro's Cathy Mullins has been named as one of the top ten finalists.

Now that she has made the Top Ten, Cathy has to travel to Nashville to audition live.  And here's what will happen if she advances to the next stage of the contest.  If Cathy is chosen as one of the final four, she will sing at a pre-season game and Predator fans will get the chance to vote!  The winner of the contest will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at select season home games with second and third-place finishers filling in as needed.

Stay tuned to WBKR and  We'll keep you posted on how Cathy does this week and we'll let you know as soon as we do if she's advanced to the next round of the competition!
