Morning guy, Chad, and midday gal, Jaclyn, are biking 300 miles from Memphis, TN, to Owensboro, KY, to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I just got some photos and video from the duo about what they encountered on their first 75 miles. The pair started off riding through the Shelby Farms Greenway - a bike trail in Memphis where Jac was almost eaten by a baby chipmunk. Then they hit the Brownsville Historic Hwy. They thought about ditching their bikes a couple of times - chaffing will make a person crazy.

Then, the lunched at Sonic. Jac ate a big fat hamburger. I wonder if this was a mistake?! Finally, they ended up in Belles, TN where they met Tonya, the Bells Baptist Church secretary and Daniel and Kendall the student mister and his wife. Finally, they got to have dinner with Jac's dad and family! So, Day 2 - bring it on!

We want to thank all the sponsors who are making Sweatin’ for St. Jude 2016 possible- Window World for proudly sponsoring this absolutely insane endeavor we cooked up; Legends for hooking us up with amazing bikes (and creams!), Diamond Lake Campground and Resort for traveling with us and hooking us up with an RV to spend our nights in; and Daymar College for being our official mile marker sponsor (and, trust me, we’ll be counting down all 300 of those miles).
