As you've probably heard by now, Chad and Jaclyn are biking 300 miles from Memphis, TN, to Owensboro, KY, to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I just got some photos and video from the duo about what they encountered on their first leg of the trip.

Chad told me that their route took them through Shelby Farms Greenline.

The Shelby Farms Greenline is a 6.5 mile urban trail connecting Midtown Memphis to Shelby Farms Park–the largest park of its kind in the country. Managed and operated by the nonprofit Shelby Farms Park Conservancy, the trail is an incredible community asset that provides new opportunities for recreation, exercise, togetherness, healthy activity, commuting and more.

According to Chad, it was AWESOME. And yes, there was some sort of correctional facility on the path so let's hope Chadlyn didn't pick up any hitchhikers. EEP!

So, if you are ever in the Memphis area, take a bike ride through the Shelby Farms Greenline and visit Shelby Farms!

We want to thank all the sponsors who are making Sweatin’ for St. Jude 2016 possible- Window World for proudly sponsoring this absolutely insane endeavor we cooked up; Legends for hooking us up with amazing bikes (and creams!), Diamond Lake Campground and Resort for traveling with us and hooking us up with an RV to spend our nights in; and Daymar College for being our official mile marker sponsor (and, trust me, we’ll be counting down all 300 of those miles).
