City Of Owensboro Hiring Telecommunicators

The City of Owensboro is now accepting applications for 9-1-1 Dispatcher Telecommunicators. 

Applications must be received no later than, Friday, April 28.  There is a mandatory exam typing exam on Tuesday, May 16, and a Written Exam on, Wednesday, May 17, at 6 p.m.

Each person applying must must complete an application for each position and indicate on if it is for “Telecommunicator” or “Calltaker”. Head on over to www.owensboro.org to apply. Click on “Employment Opportunities”; then click on the position(s) of interest; follow directions on how to apply (i.e., in upper right hand corner, click “Download Application” to complete application electronically; Save; Then click arrow in very upper left hand corner to go back to previous page, then click “Submit Application” and complete required information; Click “Submit”.
