Cruise with a DJ: Chad’s Friend Leisa Tries Ox Tongue [Photos]

Jaclyn and I are so excited about this year's Cruise with a DJ!  And, literally, there are so many fun things to do aboard a Carnival cruise.  One of my personal favorite things to do is order the "didja" item each night in the dining room.  Carnival has a section on the menu called "didja" and the idea is simply "did you ever want to try something but never had the chance?"  Well, in December, when Kevin, Craig and Leisa and I were aboard the Carnival Dream, one of the "didja" items was ox tongue and, naturally, I got Leisa (because she's adventurous and never learns her lesson) to try it with me.  I LOVED it.  Leisa, well, not so much. LOOK!

Now, here's what ox tongue looks like on a fork.  As you can see, Leisa thought she was on an episode of Fear Factor was immediately coiling in horror.

Here's Leisa just one millisecond after her first bite.  Gagging.  Drama.

I would also like to point out that this was one of Carnival "cruise elegant" nights.  That's when passengers get dressed up for an elegant night at sea and fine dining.  Leisa instantly ruined the atmosphere when she started hacking and dry heaving at the table.  LOL!  She just didn't seem very elegant and put-together.  I mean, look at this face!

Yep.  Nothing says "Welcome to the Captain's Dinner" like the woman at table 426 gagging her face off and scrubbing her tongue clean with a cucumber slice.
