Daviess County will be featured on this Saturday's (11/21) episode of the KET series 'Kentucky Life'.

The series takes a look at communities, people, and events in the Commonwealth. In Saturday's episode, Daviess County's bicentennial will be featured with a look at the history of the county, including the history of its African-American community, and learn why the lifestyle and cultural activities of present-day Daviess Co. are enjoyed by its residents.

A gentleman with former ties to Daviess Co., singer-songwriter Marty Brown, will also be featured in this week's episode. Brown is now based in Simpson Co. and the feature will talk about his return to the recording studio with the help of top country producer Robert Keith Stegall. Brown caught Stegall's attention with his appearances on 'America's Got Talent' in 2013.

The Covington Bicentennial; Daviess Co. Anniversary, Marty Brown, Suplex Tacos episode of "Kentucky Life" will air this Saturday on KET KY at 7:30 am local time and on KET at 7:00pm local time. Click here for all future airdates.
