The program even has an option of identifying your students' favorite meals with a “star” to see when that menu will be served again.

Apollo High School, Burns Middle School, and Tamarack Elementary School served as pilots for electronic menu boards in their cafeterias that display nutrition information for each meal.  College View, Daviess County middle schools, and Daviess County High School are also scheduled to receive menu boards in their cafeterias.

According to, Lisa Sims, director of food services for DCPS, the goal for this tool is to encourage meal time conversations between families about healthy choices.
