As one school year starts to wind down, Daviess County Public Schools are helping parents and students prepare and get signed up for another.  Next week, the school system will open online registration for the 2017-2018 school year.

DCPS

Starting Monday, March 27, DCPS will open online registration for all students who are returning to any DCPS school in the upcoming school year.  The registration period will continue through Wednesday, May 10th.

Parents/guardians may go to the following website: http://portal.dcps.org.  Click “Online Registration” and be sure to select the correct school year, which will be 2017-2018.

Because online registration was required last year, parents/guardians only need to review and confirm or update information that was entered during the process last year.

According to Daviess County Public School officials, you should have the following information handy when accessing the registration site.

*Infinite Campus Parent Portal username and password. Anyone who needs to create an account or does not remember their login information may contact the school their child will attend.

*Birth dates of children who will attend DCPS schools next year

*Household address

*Contact phone numbers

*Names, birth dates and phone numbers of any other individual who is authorized to pick up your child from school

*Health/medical information about each child

This is important and helpful-  If you have questions about the online registration process, it's important to note that many schools in the Daviess County Public School System have scheduled Open Lab nights to assist families.  Computers will be set up and staff will be available to assist with the process. The information listed above should be taken to these events. You can call your child’s school for information about Open Lab schedules.

Because online registration was required last year, parents/guardians will only need to review and confirm or update information that was entered last year.
