The good news? It was Louisville's turn to host the Breeder's Cup World Championships with attendance coming in at well over 100,000. The bad news? One of those attending who had a little too much to drink, decided he wanted to race too.

Louisville Metro Police arrested 24-year-old Michael Wells-Rody of Georgetown and cited him for being "under the influence of alcohol" and being "loud and disorderly".

But Wells-Rody's actions went well beyond his intoxication issues. He entered a restricted area, mounted a horse (how?), and he rode it onto the track. Fortunately, he has caught before he tried to enter the tunnel to the main track.

He will be arraigned Monday morning on charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct.
