Friday After 5 Prepares for 20th Anniversary Season

The 20th season of Friday After Five is going to be epic!  Six stages, dozens and dozens of bands, singers and entertainers.  The fun begins in May and we have a sneak preview here!

The organizers of Friday After Five had hoped to celebrate the new season with a $25,000 grant from the Levitt Amp Foundation, but received news on Tuesday afternoon it was not among the recipients.  But, that's okay.  Because 2016 is going to be incredible.

The 20th Anniversary season of Friday After 5 is scheduled to run May 20th through September 2nd, 2016.  And, like last year, there will be six different venues of entertainment: 1) The RiverPark Center patio, 2) the Atmos Courtyard adjacent to RiverPark, 3) The Kroger Street Fair, 4) the Don Moore Party on the Pier, 5) Gospel on the River presented by Glenn Family Services inside Cannon Hall, and 6) The Riverfront Overlook Stage, which will play home to new, young entertainers through the community.  In fact, Friday After 5 is currently seeking new young talent and interested entertainers are encouraged to submit info online at www.FridayAfter5.com.

And, don't forget another popular Friday After 5 feature . . . the Class Preunions. Most high school class reunions are on Saturday. And Friday After 5 happily hosts Class “PreUnions” on Fridays!. Great bands. Perfect venue. Zero cost. It’s the perfect party for all of those classes that don’t have any money left because the Class President spent it all on the prom.  LOL!
