Way back in 2012, a six-year-old little boy from Whitesville brought in all the money he raised for the kids to the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon, and ever since, Gavin Howard and his family have become a part of our St. Jude family.

Gavin is almost 14 now (!!!) and he has designed shirts every year to raise money. As of late, he's gotten his schools involved. You saw where Whitesville Trinity and St. Mary of the Woods School raised nearly $4,000 with a Penny War.

Gavin's Dad also presented a generous donation from where he works, A.K. Steel.

And they also got an additional 101 Partners in Hope between 4pm and 5pm on day two!

Thank you Gavin, your family, community, and schools in Whitesville for your dedicated support to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
