Grant G. Talbott Memorial 5K Road Race This Saturday

Grant G. Talbott served as a counselor at Owensboro Technical & Community College for ten years and he coordinated the road race for nine years. For the 28th time, the 5K road race will commence this Saturday (4/11) at 9:00 a.m.

Registration is $25 now and on the day of the race. You can register electronically here. You can also download an in-person registration form here. There will be door prizes and a $250 cash drawing after the last finisher completes the course. All entrants must be registered and present to win.

Runners and walkers are asked to park at OCTC. A complimentary shuttle will be available to take entrants to the starting line on East Byers Ave. in front of the Owensboro Country Club entrance by Legion Park. Check-in and late registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at OCTC's main campus administration building. The 5K (3.1 mi) course will follow Veach Road and will end back at the OCTC administration building.
