Greenville, Central City Named in Top 20 Safest Cities in Kentucky

Two Muhlenberg County communities have ranked in the top 20 safest cities in Kentucky for the second year in a row. 

Greenville is ranked second, one better than last year. Their violent crimes per 1,000 is 0.90. Property crimes per 1,000 in Greenville is 4.56. Central City fell a couple of spots from 13th to 16th in the top 20. The city's violent crimes per 1,000 is 0.51 and their property crimes per 1,000 is 14.12.
