GRITS Offering Rides from Henderson to Owensboro Career Center

The closure of the Kentucky Career Center in Henderson was a moment of dire straits for those in need of that valuable service. But now it's Audubon Area Services/GRITS to the rescue.

The Green River Intra-County Transit System will now offer rides from Henderson to the Owensboro Career Center on Fairview Drive.

The vehicles will leave the Henderson County Courthouse each weekday at 8:45AM and will then leave the Owensboro Career Center at 2PM each afternoon.

It's only one dollar for the round trip and will provide an important opportunity to those who may have thought those opportunities were gone.
