Visitors to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari this Friday through Sunday will end their day at the park with a patriotic fireworks celebration.

The 15-minute 4th of July Fireworks show will begin shortly after Holiday World closes for the evening each night at 9:00 p.m. CDT on Friday and Sunday and at 10:00 p.m. CDT on Saturday, July 4th. The fireworks will be launched from the northeast side of the park. Although guests should be able to see the display from throughout the park, the best place to view will be from the Thanksgiving section of the park and the Hyena Falls portion of Splashin' Safari.

Souvenir 3D fireworks glasses will be available free of charge this Friday-Sunday for viewing the display with an added dimension. Character masks to wear over the 3D glasses will also be available for a nominal fee.

New this season is an optional 4th of July buffet, with an all-you-can-eat picnic in the park's 4th of July section. Holiday World is the only park in the nation with a "4th of July" themed section.

*Following this holiday weekend, Holiday World will resume its popular Friday Night Fireworks celebrations throughout July.
