Hurricane Michael is barreling toward the Florida Gulf Coast and, over the last few days, has continued to intensify.  Overnight, the storm grew into a powerful Category 4 and will make history as the strongest hurricane ever to hit the Panama City Beach area.

According to the National Weather Service, this storm is now the most powerful in this section of the Florida coastline since 1894 . . . and THE strongest to hit the area since way back in 1851, when records started being kept.  And officials say this storm could be costly . . . with damage estimates (this morning) at 13 billion dollars.
