In The Groove has been serving the area for the last three and a half years.   The business is co-owned by Jeff Sorce and James Whitehouse.  Jeff says, until now, they have been selling primarily online and in several retail locations.  But now, they're set to showcase their products in a stand alone retail space.

In The Groove laser engraves many types of products: wood, leather, plastic, acrylics and more.  According to Jeff, the new retail store will allow customers to find the perfect present for many occasions. "When you come to In The Groove, you can grab a quick housewarming gift, a timeless Kentucky ornament or even cherish Grandma's own recipe on a custom-engraved cutting board."

And customers will have the opportunity to "Create your own Cutout!"  Shoppers will be able to choose their own cutout design, pick out a bow and choose a vinyl or stencil.  Then, as Jeff explains, you'll be able to "let your creative juices flow."

In The Groove will also be offering monthly crafting/painting parties and will allow customers to host their own creative parties at the downtown location.  That location is situated at 103 A 3rd Street in Owensboro.

The grand opening of In The Groove is set for Saturday, October 6th!
