Hey gang, it's National Fried Chicken Day. In the South--and particularly in Kentucky--we can't argue with that, can we?

While it's entirely possible they exist, I've never, personally, met anyone who doesn't like good fried chicken.

And yes I say "good" because it can be done seriously wrong.

But, you know, I said "the South," and then turned around and found a blog about National Fried Chicken Day from the Quad-City Times. That's up in northern Illinois and Iowa.

It's not just a southern thing.
