Johnny Depp and Amber Herd Apologize for Smuggling Dogs Into Australia [Video]

Owensboro's Johnny Depp and his wife Amber Heard recently got in trouble when Amber smuggled her dogs into Australia during the filming of a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.  They dished out an apology on video. 

You shouldn't break laws anywhere but when you are in a different country on the other side of the planet then you get in more trouble.  They have some pretty strict laws in Australia and if you break them you are facing some serious time.

Amber was facing about ten years in prison for smuggling her dogs, Pistol and Boo, into the country.  However she pleaded guilty and the charges were dropped.  Australia is very very strict when it comes down to this but they believe strongly in "Just tell the truth and you won't get in trouble."

The reason it is illegal is because of diseases.

I'm sure Australia appreciates that.  But here in the United States we are getting a kick out of it because if you ask me.... it's a little over the top.

So to make light of the situation someone made a video pretending to be the Australian forcing them to make this video and it's hilarious.
