The University of Kentucky basketball team is losing one of their big men. Junior Marcus Lee has announced he is both withdrawing his name from the NBA Draft, and he is transferring.

Coach John Calipari said in a release the 6-9 Lee is wanting to transfer to a school out west, he's from San Francisco, to be closer to his family. Lee participated in the NBA draft combine, but he wasn't assured he would be picked in next month's draft. He has one year of eligibility remaining, however he may have to sit out this next season per NCAA rules. It depends on where he decides to go. This announcement comes a week after freshman Charles Matthews decided to transfer.

Meanwhile, sophomore guard Isaiah Briscoe is returning to UK next season. He also withdrew his name from the draft. He didn't put in any time at the combine but he did work out with a couple of teams.

Three Cats: Tyler Ulis, Jamal Murray, and Skal Labissiere are all expected to be drafted in the first round with Murray possibly being chosen in the top 5. The NBA Draft is June 23rd.
