Kentucky National Guard Launches eMuseum

Oh, I'm diggin' this! And it's odd that it's something that never would have occurred to me while simultaneously feeling like something that's a LONG TIME COMING!

The Kentucky Department of Military Affairs will now preserve photos and articles about the Commonwealth's military history in an online eMuseum.

Also, those Kentuckians who've been recipients of awards or notoriety due to their service will be immortalized on the site.

The public/private partnership that the Kentucky National Guard shares with Kentucky Interactive, LLC was the driving force behind the execution of the online museum.

What an amazing resource we now have, particularly from an educational standpoint. While writing this blog I kept thinking what a great school field trip this would make. But the entire museum is online. Hey, you can still do the field trip. It just won't cost as much.
