Kentucky State Police Investigating Ohio County Shooting

Breaking news this afternoon from Kentucky State Police.  Detectives are investigating a shooting that took place early this morning in Ohio County.

According to Corey King, from Kentucky State Police Post 16-Henderson, officers responded to reports that a man with a gunshot wound to the face showed up at a residence in the 1800 block of KY 1118.  He was requesting an ambulance.

Troopers and emergency crews arrived and discovered the male victim did indeed have a gunshot wound to his face.  The victim was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville and is currently  listed in stable condition.

According to King, "troopers and detectives are currently interviewing a female who is believed to be involved in the shooting. However, she has not been charged at this time."
