The food drive will help provide families in need throughout Kentucky with non-perishable food items.

Items needed include canned fruit and vegetables, canned meat, macaroni and cheese, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, chili or spaghetti sauce, brownie and cake mixes, coffee, water, powdered milk and juices.

Collection sites are located at all of KSP's 16 posts and six Commercial Vehicle Enforcement regional offices throughout the state as well as agency headquarters in Frankfort.  The campaign will end December 12th.

All food will be distributed to local shelters, churches and other organizations in the areas where it is collected.

Last year over 200,000 pounds of food was donated from many groups and organizations throughout the state.

Your giving could make a huge difference for a family in need this holiday season!
