Kentucky State Police To Provide NASCAR Traffic Updates For Kentucky Speedway Via Social Media, App
Is anyone heading to Sparta this weekend for NASCAR? Traffic can be tricky, but the Kentucky State Police are helping out by providing traffic info for fans around Kentucky Speedway via social media.
KSP encourages fans to download their free app which can found by searching for "KSPOLICE" in the App Store or Google Play. In addition to the mobile app updates. KSP will use Twitter (@KYStatePolice) and roadside message boards to provide consistent traffic and parking updates. ADA parking will be able to use both Exit 55 and Exit 57 to reach the designated parking areas.
The KSP is advises all commercial motor vehicle traffic and other non-race traffic to avoid the Gallatin County area, specifically Interstate 71 on Friday and Saturday. Commercial motor vehicles in transit between Louisville and Cincinnati are advised to use Interstates 64 and 75.
The XFINITY series race, Alsco 300 will start at 8:30pm (EDT) on Friday night. The NASCAR Sprint Cup series race, the Quaker State 400 will begin at 7:30pm EDT on Saturday night and tune at 5:30pm local time to hear complete coverage Saturday on 92.5 WBKR!
