I was scrolling through Facebook the other day, as one does, and I noticed a friend of mine had tagged her daughter to alert her to a Kesha concert in Bowling Green?? Since April Fool's pranks were out in full force, I decided to do some fact-checking and believe it or not, the hit pop singer/songwriter will be headlining a concert festival in Bowling Green, KY this summer.

Kesha will headline the PickAxe Summerfest at Bowling Green Ballpark, Home of the Hot Rods, on Saturday, June 18th. The singer grew up in Nashville, her mother Pebe co-wrote Dolly Parton's hit "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You", and Kesha went on to write hit songs for Kelly Clarkson and Britney Spears before embarking on her own multi-platinum career.

Joining Kesha at the PickAxe Summerfest will be pop-rock group Alien Ant Farm, best known for their cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal", local group Average Joes, and Twang and Round with Christina Chriss. Additional artists will be announced at a later date.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 8th online HERE and tickets can also be purchased at the ballpark or by calling 270-901-2121.
