More and more stores are offering a way to shop online. You make your list, then you go and pick it up. But for those of us who still like to go in and browse around the store, Kroger is going a step further in the self-scanner method.

It's called "Scan, Bag, and Go" and it's basically, you scan all your items as you go, then bag them, pay, and leave. Louisville is the third Kroger market where the new technology is being tested out.

I've always been a fan of self-scanning, but sometimes, the bar codes can be tricky and getting a correct price on produce is really tricky. It's no surprise other retailers are thinking of testing out similar self-shopping options. I would totally be on board with trying "Scan, Bag, and Go" out, what about you?
