Kyle Kuric Out Of Hospital Following Two Brain Surgeries

Former Louisville basketball standout and Evansville native Kyle Kuric is out of a Barcelona hospital two weeks after emergency brain surgery.

26-year-old Kuric had a tumor removed on November 5th then had a follow-up procedure two days later to relieve swelling around the brain. He was on a ventilator and was in critical condition for several days during a medically induced coma.

The Madrid-based newspaper El Mundo is also reporting Kuric could return to his Grand Canaria team in a mater of weeks. He first has to recover from a third surgery, which will take place next month, to place a plate into his skull.

Kuric's wife Taraneh gave birth to twins in August.
