Last Week to Submit ‘Faces of our Heroes’ Veterans Tribute Entries

Memorial Weekend there's a beautiful way to honor deceased U.S. Military Veterans from our community. We're in the final week to submit your tribute entries! Find out how.

‘Faces of Our Heroes’ is a special tribute to our veterans located inside the Owensboro Convention Center Memorial Day Weekend, May 25th-28th, 2018.

This special display includes photos and information of ‘heroes’ from our region. Your submission will join the other 170 veterans included in the exhibit since 2015.

Honor the fallen hero in your life. This is the final week to submit entries as the DEADLINE is Monday May 7th, 2018. Visit www.owensboro.org and click on ‘Quick Links’ to download registration form today.

If a veteran was previously registered with the exhibit (either in 2015 or 2017), then you do not need to submit their information again. If you would like to register to be a part of the exhibit, the City of Owensboro is working in conjunction with Daviess County Public Library again to gather the information for the exhibit. Photos and registration forms may be submitted at the library. Entry forms may be downloaded from the city’s website or picked up at the library. Your photo will be scanned at the library when you submit the registration form.
