Okay!  Trust me on this.  This is a MUST see.  Broadway star Linda Eder is coming to town to join the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra for a special concert next year.  Songs from the Stage and Screen is set for Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at 7pm.  Seriously.  Mark it down.  Make your plans to get tickets.  Her voice will blow you away!

I have been a fan of Linda Eder since the 90's.  I saw her for the first time in a touring company of the musical Jekyll & Hyde.  I saw the show before it ever hit Broadway, where she earned Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations by the way.  Her voice is insane!  It's beautiful and powerful and, trust me, she will give you chills.  I saw her in New York City a couple of times and I won't lie.  I blubbered like a fool.

Take a listen!  Here she is singing "Someone Like You" from Jekyll & Hyde.

See what I mean??  Check this out!

Or this!  Here's she is belting out "Man of La Mancha!"

Songs from the Stage and Screen featuring Linda Eder is just one of several concerts announced by Maestro Troy Quinn for the 2018-2019 season of the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra.  Other highlights include Bohemian Beethoven (the season opener on October 27th), the Very Merry Holiday Pops in December and Disney in Concert Saturday, March 2nd.

Season tickets for the 2018-2019 season are on sale now.  They are available through the Owensboro Symphony website at TheOSO.com.  Or you can call the Owensboro Symphony Office at 270-684-0661, ext. 11.

The Owensboro Symphony's 2018-2019 Season is now on sale! Now is the time to purchase tickets to guarantee you have the best seats in the house.
