The University of Kentucky's DanceBlue marathons have raised over $8 million dollars for pediatric cancer research over the last nine years. Four Daviess County (Ky) Public Schools will be joining them in their own local versions of DanceBlue in the fight against childhood cancer this year!

There can be "no sleeping, no sitting", so throughout the event, students will be participating in dancing, playing games and dedicating their time and efforts to support children and families served by DanceBlue Clinic. Each hour features a different theme for music. Students will also have the opportunity to write messages of encouragement and make a tie-blanket to send to children at the hospital.

Apollo High School will be participating in its third annual DanceBlue event on Sunday, January 17th from 4:00pm - 10:00pm. Over the last two years, they have raised more than $18,000 to fight childhood cancer.

College View Middle School and Burns Middle School will host their first DanceBlue marathons on Friday, January 15th at their schools from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.

Sorgho Elementary School held its first DanceBlue event on December 4th, raising over $2,000!

Good Luck and Congrats to all of the schools participating in this great event!
