Louisville Still On the List of Cities for an NBA Expansion Franchise or Are They?

There are conflicting reports out there rehashing the possibility of an NBA franchise coming to Louisville. One blog says it's true, the mayor's office says it's false. 

The state's largest city has an NBA-ready arena in the KFC Yum! Center. In December, University of Louisville Athletic Director Tom Jurich wanted the school to pull out of the arena. The school's lease currently doesn't allow other teams to use the facility.

The arena has hosted pre-season NBA exhibition games before. The blog reporting Louisville is still in the mix for a franchise names Seattle and Mexico City as the front runners for a new NBA team.
