Miss Budweiser Hydroplane Coming to Owensboro

This is pretty cool.  Hydroplane racing fans are going to love it.  Miss Budweiser is coming to town next week.

Miss Budweiser is making an appearance in Owensboro on Monday, June 25 and will be on display in front of the Owensboro Convention Center.  The history of the hydroplane is rooted right here in Owensboro.  It's first driver was local native Bill Sterett, Sr.  And Miss Budweiser won the 1969 Kentucky Governor's Cup, which was held in town.

The public is invited to view the hydroplane Monday, which will be on display in front of the Owensboro Convention Center from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
