Gryphon Environmental on Fairview Drive in Owensboro employs nine people, at present. That number figures to increase when, according to the Lane Report, the manufacturing company relocates within the city and expands.

Founded in 2007, Gryphon manufactures industrial drying systems that are used by food processors, paper manufacturers, and the municipal wastewater treatment market.

Upon relocating, Gryphon will add 20 jobs and will set its sights on future growth.

Gryphon's investment in the relocation and expansion is $1.76 million.

Kentucky governor Matt Bevin made the announcement Tuesday afternoon.
