THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE REGION TODAY. A FEW ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS WILL BE POSSIBLE...PRIMARILY OVER WEST KENTUCKY AND SOUTHWEST INDIANA ALONG THE OHIO RIVER. LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING ISSUES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE PENNYRILE REGION OF WESTERN KENTUCKY...EAST OF THE LAKES...AND A SMALL ADJACENT PORTION OF FAR SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS. REFER TO THE WATCH FOR DETAILS.
