The break-up we all saw coming. And the rebound we didn't.

So last year, the NFL and Papa Johns were on shaky ground. They'd been going steady for so many years. Papa was even friends with a lot of the NFL's friends. It was a relationship that we thought would last a lifetime.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

The NFL broke up with Papa John yesterday. They said it had to do with performance issues, and they just didn't see eye to eye anymore. They basically told each other "You've changed..."

It was a mutual breakup.

Papa Johns is still friends with some of the NFL's friends. They're cool.

(And I'm kind of secretly glad they broke up. I mean, I like Papa John's. But I feel like the only reason I liked it was because it was always around NFL, and I like NFL. So I was like "If NFL likes Papa Johns, I'm not going to say anything..." But now that they've broken up I'm thinking "Did I only like Papa John's because it was with NFL and super cheap?" Am I that pizza shallow?)

But, anyway, back to the drama.

Less than 24 hours after the NFL broke up with Papa John, the NFL had a new boo.

Pizza Hut.

Pizza Hut has to pay a little more to be with the NFL, but it looks like this new relationship could go strong until 2021.

And, I don't want to sound cheesy, but Pizza Hut and NFL do look adorable together.
